野球の熱狂ファンが優勝の盛り上がりで、カーネル・サンダース人形を川に投げ落とした。＾＾；；
A combustible fan of baseball threw colonel-Sanders-doll off in a river by protuberance of a victory.
その後、人形は、見つからず、その球団が24年間、優勝しなくなり、この伝説ができた。
After that the doll isn't found and the baseball team doesn't win the victory any more for 24 years, and this legend is done.
去年になって、ようやく人形が、発見される。
A doll will be last year, and is found finally.
その呪いを解くことができたのかは、わかりませんが、、、＾＾；；；

I see, that may be true. I know that there are none of those here in the US, then again that is probably because Colonel Sanders actually existed and making the dolls of the dead is not really a big thing over here.
