Yeah, that's such a beauteous creature...
I actually have a couple of friends who have chosen moths as their main persona...
One is a Monarch-titled Lunar Moth, who we call Boog: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/20503083/
And the other is something that... actually rings a bell similar to your interests... Namely, she's actually a small ball of condenced magical energy... a goo ball with a stone-like core...
And she, as well as others of her race, use their magic to create a protective form for themselves, that varies from "nebel" to "nebel"... The name of her race. ;3 : https://www.furaffinity.net/view/32954264/
Yep. she chose a Moff for her body, so that's what we call her, even if it's more a simple preference than true biology...
And I myself, well, have a bug queen form, with the ability to "corrupt" others into various bugfolk, *or* able to uplift common buggies into full anthropomorphic members of my hive. Needless to say Moths and Butterflies would be very welcome. : https://www.furaffinity.net/view/33389214/ (((WARNING... This one is naughty by way of boobs with nips, so you have been warned. I'm fine with you skipping any of these images ~u ~ )))
So... Yeah! Seeing a beautiful buggy version of a certain songbird is a delight! maybe I'll daydream about her visiting the hive... or, maybe I'll imagine Miss Philomela as being bug-corrupted by my queen aspect.
Either way, it's a lovely new variant to get to see. Thank you, as always, for sharing these with us. <3
Ah. P.S.... one great thing about bugs, is that with a little care, the multiple limbs can create such *gorgeous* inflections and poses... ~u ~

yup, while i have not posted it yet because it's being done in stages, Philophana's comic really showcases how much expressivity pose can give to a character which basically... has no facial expression possible.
