Continuing on from my previous submission
Beyond the massive boulder, with its strange outgrowths, an expanse of concrete - cracked, weathered, decaying - extends towards the top of a hill. Clearly, there was once a significant building here, the outlines of the walls still visible in its foundations.
There were offices, storage rooms, washrooms and even showers, all the amenities needed for long days at work.
What would require such a modern structure so far from a metropolitan centre?
