been feeling kinda motivated to draw again recently and i just hadn't been able to get myself around to it, the thing is its largely to do with feeling like having to fight against my setup, so the other day i pushed through the block somewhat and messed with setting and set up new brushes better suited to my needs, and this is what came of today

this started as what i thought was gunna be a warmup sketch of a random thing that popped into my head, but it looked pretty promising so i decided to just keep at it.
Hes sortof a loose mix of a bunch of different ideas, spread around my creative sphere, larp, worldbuilding writing etc... but then that makes sense as everything no matter where it goes starts as vague ideas;
-So this guy is part of a barbarian desert-dwelling albino lizard people who deal in blood-magic and vampirism as a significant part of their warrior culture, which revolves around gathering power, knowledge and experiences in life to bring along into the afterlife where they assimilate with their god Hakkarn to become part of his mind, who once powerful enough will one day reawaken as an amalgamum of the minds of his followers
