Tange Costume Design
Here's Tange's outfit. Apart from Sugar, Tange is the only girl who has the benefit of having an older sister AND a mother to help develop her sense of fashion. Because of this, Tange is well rounded and dresses more creatively and with a bit more flair.
Even so, her outfit reflects her personality. Smart and sassy, sexy without being trashy. She's a modest girl, for the most part, who is aware of her feminine assets, but doesn't flaunt what she's got. Her clothes are serviceable and flattering and show off her beauty while complementing her modesty.

The long trousers are a really nice touch! Is it just me, or do they seem to flare a bit lower down the legs? It kind of reminds me of seventies jeans =~.^= That's the kind of stuff I also wear when I'm not in my priestess robes or my sleek snazzy and kind of intimiating street racer outfits, hehe. Or when I am not working on one of my many, many cars... but yeh! This is a lovely daily get-up to wear for those calm days when you're hanging around with your friends or go shopping or do chores or...

Well, I could go on like that for hours, so I'll just say it's a perfect outfit! I love it! The blue really goes well with her eyes, too, and is soft enough not to clash with her fur color

I'm so glad the colors are coming across accurately, too...since I can't really see colors very accurately on my laptop...which is where I do all my work I need to get a CPU tower for the desktop in the living room Anyhoo, yes, her pants do flare at the bottom. I...just really like that look I've always been a fan of bellbottoms and general flaired pants

You're very welcome! It does seem as if Tange's fur is a tad lighter here than in your previous picture of her, but that's probably also to blame on the angle of the screen of my old laptop at the moment =~.^= (I'm laying in bed with the thing resting on a pillow on my legs =~.^=)
Mmm, and alright! Then I had seen it correctly! I can so understand your feelings on those kinds of pants; they're awesome! *giggles* And because the one big story I am doing with Zinzoline and her adopted daughter in it is set in the 1980's, the fashion of the 79's and 80's plays a very very big role in there! Gosh, I loved those eras, the fashion was so cute those days!
(and on an unrelated note; wow, in between your submissions, they suddenly completely revamped the "reply to this comment" thingie! But it's a nice thing, because with my slow and rickety connection, I actually had troubles commenting and replying to your artwork after a day, because you're such a popular artist! =~.^= When you get 20 or more comments, I found the text of my replies coming letter for letter at one letter per two seconds onto the screen, so often I had to stop typing to wait for my text to appear, hee hee! =~.^= But now with these new reply boxes, my text appears on the screen at the same speed as I type it again! =~.^=

*squeals* THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANK YOU!! *super pounces* Tange was actually the hardest to dress. I knew exactly what Candy and Sweetheart were going to wear, but Tange kept trying things on and taking things off and...*sighs* I'm glad she's happy with this! I've got three other girls + Boomer to do and then, I'll be done with the core characters. *dances*
Oh wow, I have to agree with the others here; that shoulder-less top is too perfect! Wonderful! It looks so good on her! She really does seem to have a very good taste in fashion! Her jeans (or well, I assume they are jeans) really look good on her, too! A very clever touch to wear those under that skirt! I love it!

Oh wow! I hadn't expected that about them looking better clothed than nude That makes me happy, thank you! There's another project that I was thinking about while I was designing their costumes that involves the three girls that did not appear as pinups which really makes this comment really great. ^^
Thank you! I'm so glad you like her outfit. You know, I tried it as just a dress with no pants underneath, but it wasn't Tange. The style was too revealing (not that wearing a mini-skirt is excessively revealing or anything) for HER, so I added the pants and she was happy with that

Anyway, you are very welcome, Kitt! It's really true; when your girls are nude, they are beautiful; you can see the lovely patterns in their fur, and there is nothing, or at least next to nothing, left to the imagination; they are there, displayed in their nude glory, to see and enjoy.
But when you start dressing them up in such lovely outfits, that adds, in my opinion, such an extra dimension to them! It allows us to see the girls from another side; form their regular, everyday side. I mean, think about it; when you see a nude girl, you just look at her body and enjoy the curves, the lines, the beauty, and the sheer nudity, plus oftentimes the eroticism (or at least we guys do =~.^=). But what you don't see is what kind of a girl she is; what does she do in her everyday life? How does she express her individuality, or lack thereof? What are her hobbies, her tastes? her occupation? Heck, you can't see that on her naked body (even though in some photo shoots it's shown in a sidebar, but that's just text). All you see is the girl, who is right there, nude, for the pictures.
What you do with giving these girls such cute outfits, and showing them to us as such, is adding a whole extra dimension of life to them! We can tell much more, and come to know much more, about the girl from looking at these pictures! Take Tange here for instance; she shows she has a good sense of fashion, a liking for contrasting yet soft colors. Can we see that when she's naked?
No. It's as simple as those two letters in that order; no. We can't see what kind of colors Tange likes to wear, what kind of elegance she portrays in her educated sense of fashion when she's naked. But in this picture, we can see it, and that heightens, at least for me, the joy of seeing her. In this picture she shows she has a good taste for fashion, that she likes elegant ensembles, and adding a touch of modesty, perhaps even a light shyness, by wearing long-legged trousers under her short skirt. She is much more alive in this picture, much more... 3D if you like, because you just get such a deeper insight in her personality and her tastes this way.
So yes, as much as I enjoy seeing your girls when they're all naked (true, I admit it; I enjoy that. Hey, I'm a healthy boy cat after all =~.^=), I enjoy seeing them in these kind of pictures, with such stylish, elegant outfits, just as much if not even more, because for me it adds much more depth and insight to the character.

You know...I can see Amber older finding her own style, kind of taking bits and pieces from each of the girls and being independent with them. You know?
