No One Gets Left Behind YCH
Even when you can't bring everyone home from an operation, you can always rescue them from their captors. And that's what this YCH is about.
XCOM sent a team in several weeks ago to hit an ADVENT site, and one of The Chosen gate-crashed the operation, capturing the operative in the process while the rest of the team was exfiltrating. Now, XCOM has intel on the location of their captured operative, and has sent a 3-man strike team to bust their operative out.
This is actually based on a mission in which I did exactly this in XCOM 2 War of the Chosen, in which I extracted one of my guys without firing a shot, and leaving no evidence but a gaping hole in the prison facility and the missing prisoner.
Now you can take part in this operation with three slots, with my new character Karata leading the strike team. Two operatives, and the POW are up for grabs. The two operatives (Blue and Green) can be any XCOM class in the game:
Ranger (close-quarters scout with a sword on their back, and a rifle or shotgun in their hands)
Sharpshooter (Sniper)
Grenadier (Heavy weapons expert, uses a Gatling-style gun, and a multi-shot grenade launcher)
Specialist (Rifle in hand, and a GREMLIN Drone that can either shock an enemy, hack a terminal, or bring an ally back from the brink of death).
To serve as an example, Karata, a Utah Raptor who will be tweaked in the finished product, is a Ranger, with a Rifle that has a repeater and laser-sight mounted (chance of a one-shot kill, and increased crit-chance).
The operatives can be male or female, can wear any gear the winner wants (since this is set in the early game, no power-armor, mag or energy weapons please), and can be any species. Winning characters will have their Country of Origin on their shoulder, and if visible, the XCOM Patch as well.
Starting bids are listed in the image, but will be listed below as well for translation purposes.
Bidding starts immediately, and endsJuly 19th at 23:55 July 22nd at 00:10 00:40 US Central time with each bid adding 15min. to the time.
VIGILO CONFIDO! And Good Luck everyone.
Bonus: the first person who can correctly guess the reason for the naming of this YCH will get a bonus cameo as Firebrand in the final piece.

Would winged characters with some odd features (i.e. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/31053329/ ) be suitable for this YCH?
