OHEMEFFGEEEE! It isn't pr0n, it isn't even furry!? Wtf.
Sorry for assailing your senses with this, but I spents tons of time on it and wanted to post it in my gallery thingy here. Hope that isn't terribly against the rules... It took me 9 hours anyway. It's a physical print, full aquatint (takes forever) Unfortunately you lose the satin-looking finish the thing has, it's really nice IRL but my scanner doesn't like subtleties.
Enjoy!

It's a standard etched copper plate which is run through a press (with paper over it of course.)
Aquatint is basically a method to get flat blacks, it involves using powdered rosin distributed evenly and finely across the surface of the plate (and then heated so the rosin melts in little dots) or alternatively you can use certain types of black spraypaint which are acid resistant to get a nearly equal droplet size.
Once the droplets are on the plate you can then use an acid-resistant masking agent to cover the parts you don't want to be dark... Put it in the acid for a few minutes, take it out, mask some more (stuff you want to be lighter than the next bite step) and continue until you're done.
I used Ashvaultum as my masking agent. It's very runny and must be applied thickly to get it to work and as a result it was tedious to work with in around the branches. I had to paint a negative of the tree where the sky is white and had to paint the actual tree where the tree is white, so it was a lot of fine and frustrating brush work.
After I had everything of the aquatint I wanted bitten I rolled hard ground onto the surface and applied the pointillism.

oh... now this i love to death ^_^
the moment i saw this i imagined a scene from some flash fiction i am writiting. an ominous shadow thing uncertain as to what it is but a ton of long armed hands , made of shadow, some very much like a tree branch in their design. it is a haunting scene in which a creature reaches for a character as if in a nightmare.
in current "main" project there are many scenes with reflections on water, and mirrors doing some rather scary things. in fact, in the first scene of a prologue you see the reflection of a dog on the surface of the water. it is walking down the dock on a misty morning, away from the shore, yet it has no dog to accompany it. At least no dog that can be seen, yet it is revealed in a distorted reflection on the water.
there are a few more disturbingly creepy elements to it. who/what this black ghost dog is... if it is a dog, and most important... why is it there. though i shall not spoil it :P
you'll find there is a bit of a "creepy stuff loving" side to me. you guys also like horror movie stuff. while its not the entirety of what i write, or the total of an entire book, i certainly add a lot of "supernatural horror" into my writings.
