Well I think she loves what I gave her. I love it when my darling Kalea is happy.

Island Otter and Male
Giving
About a week had gone by since that diving expedition. Now things had gotten back to normal. As stated before, the new stuff brought up really helped the otters on the island with money. For those on the crew who had gotten their own things, these had been set up nicely. Nicholas was pleased with his choices. And yet… there was still the flower with the gem in the middle that the fosky had recovered to give to Kalea. The long-haired male still was trying to find the right time to give it to the sea otter. Such a time accorded when he had nothing else better to do. The guy walked up to Kalea’s hut and knocked on one of the walls since the door wouldn’t allow that. The door itself was made of none hard materials and not wood. The sea otter came out and she smiled sweetly at him. “Nicholas,” Kalea said happily.
“Hey Kalea,” he replied with a smile of his own. “Are you busy?”
“No.”
“Then come. I want to talk and walk.”
The sea otter followed him and they did just that. Kalea and Nicholas didn’t hold paws but she was close to his side and their tails brushed against the other. The female blushed like the guy was doing to. Eventually their walk took them to one of the beaches. This one was a main one and they could see the cruise/scientific ship that had brought him and the others here. It was were Kaela and the otters who had attended Remy’s birthday party came to before swimming out to the ship. “Beautiful,” the long-haired male said as he gazed out at the waves, hearing the sea, feeling the hot sun, and most of all, being with a beauty like Kalea by his side.
“Yes,” she agreed.
“You are lucky you know. To live here in such a place. I… I would do anything to live here if I could…” That made her look to him. Even though Kalea didn’t want to think about Nicholas leaving, somewhere in her heart and the back of her mind, the sea otter knew he couldn’t stay. The fosky had said he was only here for a set time. Which was why the sea otter took as much time to spend with him not only to create these happy memories, but hopefully so when the time of saying goodbye came, it wouldn’t be as painful.
“You… wish you could?” Kalea asked and he looked at her.
“Well I still have time here,” Nicholas answered. “Something might come up but for now I take one day at a time.” The guy felt what was in his short’s pocket. “I’ve tried to make everyone special. And…” The guy blushed and rubbed the back of his head, feeling awkward. “Well… thanks to everyone but… especially you Kalea, I’m able to…”
The 18-year-old sea otter smiled deeply, blushing like him. She knew what he meant. Nicholas had shown her so much like she had with him. “I can to…” the female whispered, getting closer to him.
The male swallowed his nerves. Kalea was just so beautiful and adorable like this. “If it’s alright with you… I wanted to give you something now.”
“A gift?” the sea otter asked with a smile. And the guy nodded.
“You remember our dive with that ship?”
“I do,” she replied. “So fun.”
“Well… there was something else down there. But… I didn’t want anyone else to have it but you…” The fosky pulled out the box from his pocket and opened it to reveal the necklace. “Kalea, this is what I saved for you.” He was blushing and the sea otter gasped. The sea otter had seen beautiful things, but this was the most beautiful one she’d ever seen.
“Oh my goddess… It’s beautiful,” she whispered.
“Do you like it?” The sea otter just threw her arms around the fosky in a tight, loving hug. Nicholas was shocked by this, but even more so when feeling Kalea give his cheek a kiss.
“I love it… I love it…” the sea otter whispered, kissing his cheek again before churring and nuzzling that part of his face again. Nicholas was shocked by this, even though he hugged her back. The fosky hadn’t expected things to go this well. But with this, the guy began to form a plan but for now would keep quiet. The two pulled apart and he put it around her neck.
“It suits you well Kalea,” he said softly and they hugged again with her churring happily. The fosky then explained that it could go underwater with her and as long as the sea otter dried it off after the final dive, it would be fine and not rust. They then continued to walk and talk but the guy did end up grabbing her paw. The sea otter smiled and leaned against him, happy as could be. They continued to talk, and when finally she was walked back to her hut, they hugged and she kissed him on the cheek again. If anything, Kalea wanted to in case she never got the chance again. The do so to the male she really liked and was beginning to fall in love with. But soon something else would happen that would lead up to a situation.
