Haha, thanks Fudgy! It was pretty tough to get it to look right with the complicated armor design. I was drawing this with my PSP in my left hand for reference and I kept having to take breaks cuz it was too heavy for my scrawny arms to hold for extended periods, ahaha.

I love monster hunter... So want to get back into it again!

I forgot how addictive this game was. But, at least my hand cramping from being stuck in a claw to rotate the camera while I run forces me to take breaks after playing for too long, haha!

I loved playing that game on PS2 when it first came out :D

Kinda wish they kept Monster Hunter to the consoles instead of PSP, but it's slowly growing up I suppose. Especially with adhoc party. Also wanna grab the art books they have out now :]

What's a lvl 6 Ux?

Akantor was sorta the "final boss" of MHF2. It was the last HR6 urgent, back when HR6 was the highest Hunter Rank. I had to kill 2 Hypnocatrices to get to HR7 when I started Unite, though, so I don't know if Akantor is still an urgent or if he's just a normal HR6 quest now. He's actually really easy, and a complete pushover with a good gunlance, and his parts used to make overpowered gear that has been since nerfed into the ground. His armor set was like Rathalos Soul U on steroids and his bow was amazing. (300 raw / 200 dragon element, 50% affinity [!!!], and scatter3/pierce3/rapid4 charges and pierce4 with load up.) You could also make a fun hunting horn with his parts which was the only one that could play both the high grade earplug and highest level healing songs.

I was just whining about Narga armor to  doggieo the other day, haha. I've been trying to farm HR 8 Narga for his armor, but I've only killed a few. I'm having a really rough time with him, but it's probably due to inexperience with fighting him and using a shitty fire longsword with green sharpness at max. :C

i meant HR6 xD and i didnt get get Akator >: just 2 tigrex which killed me 6x! UX< i really hate them >_> i can handle 1 but i cant handle 2 at the same time Ux i need a teammate TTwTT *is only one in my country that loves this game* >X SO CRUEL!! DX

yeah, naruga really is hard to quickly get away, had to use all 3 pit traps just to kill him head on and thats just in the Cheif level Ux the guild level are 3x has more HP and bigger dmg! cant do it alone TTwTT

oh and i recommend the True Devil cleaver (the lightning one, not sure its this name xD) or Hidden blade U: hidden blade is a sure Criti slice, and big sharpness level! :3

Oh, when I say HR6 Urgent, I mean HR6 -> HR7 Urgent. As in, you gotta kill a bunch of HR6 stuff to reach it, so that might be why! I don't think they'd completely remove him from the game. The 2 Tigrex quest is pretty annoying (especially when both of them are in the same zone and won't leave.) They're the sole reason that I made a Siegmund great sword and learned the timing to land level 3 charges on their face. Makes them a loooot easier to deal with.

I play with some of my RL friends from time to time, but I spend a lot of time solo, too. Most of the time I spent playing with my friends was helping them play catch-up, haha, but because I started Unite so late, they're all HR 9 and I'm the one straggling behind.

I have True Devil Slicer, but I was dumb and didn't use it cuz Narga's weak to fire so I just took whatever fire longsword I had. I have a Golden Falchion, though. I should probably try that instead. :S

I use almost all of the weapons, it just depends on which monster I'm fighting. Bow is my favorite, though, and bowguns are the only weapons I really don't ever use. I used to be a gunner all the time in the first MHF, but I got soooo sick of having to carry around combo books and have my inventory full of ammo and ammo ingredients.

i have a hard time with the silver rathalos though =___=;; and the kirin Ux kezu is medium, chameleos is easy, and rajang... hard Ux

I think I used Tigrex S for my blademaster set for almost everything. Back in MHF2, you could get Autotracker, Earplug, Sharpening Skill Increase, and Quick Eating. It got nerfed a little bit in Unite, so you can only have 3 of those abilities, but it's still a great convenient set to use. For anything that requires High Grade Earplug, I used Rathalos Soul U to get Reckless Abandon +3 and High Grade Earplug. I used a Rathalos Soul U gunner set as well for my bow. Once I started farming Akantor I switched to his armor for both sets. It got really badly nerfed, so it's not nearly as good anymore, though. It's not bad for mixing with pieces from other sets, but the full set is not that great. Under the old stats and slots, full Akantor armor minus the helm which was a Barrage Piercing, gave me Reckless Abandon +1, Load Up, Earplug, and Speed Fire. It was glorious. ;O;
