CHARACTER BIO-

Smahrt named herself as all slimes do- and it's easy to guess why she did! Unlike most slimes, Smahrt is able to think on a higher level. Not all that impressive, and still far below an actual person's intellect, but the young slime is getting somewhere! Very shortly after she split off from her mother, Smahrt found a pair of glasses and decided she wanted to become intelligent. A lifelong quest was formed! Ever since then this slime has been traveling the world well outside normal slime territory on a journey for knowledge. She speaks to other monster girls with above average fluency- very rarely tripping over her words and possessing quite a large vocabulary. It just takes her a long time to get her sentences out. Remarkably, she has even started to make some headway into learning to read although her drippy nature holds her back quite a lot. She smudges and ruins most books she touches. She's not QUITE there yet, but Smahrt is on the verge of discovering that she might be able to use a small stick to turn the pages! Good for her!

Smahrt views sexual matters through a curious mind and not entirely from a 'because it feels good' stance that most slimes take. She still possesses a lack of inhibabition common in most slimes which means if someone interests her, Smahrt is very likely to attack and see what sort of things she can learn from the sexual encounter. Smahrt is more skilled than other slimes when it comes to foreplay, often staring at her partner blankly as she pokes and prods them in different places to see what their reactions are. This of course does lead Smahrt to make her partner uncomfortable sometimes, but it's the price of knowledge!

If Smahrt continues her path of discovery and awakens to an actual intelligence on par with an average monster girl, she will evolve into a higher species of slime entirely! But what that species might be remains to be seen.

Smahrt's relationship with the Hero of MHFAP! is one of curiosity on both sides. The Hero finds her increased intellect very curious and interesting for a slime and likes to test her by conversing with her and patiently listening to her to string together sentences rather slowly. He knows it helps her out though, so he talks of his travels, his harem, and all the girls he's met while Smahrt listens with a deep fascination- taking in his words and internalizing them to make herself smarter and smarter. She feels like she wants to impress him, though, so she often refuses his more direct attempts to help her. Having him open a book and read to her is a vast affront to her pride that she will not abide by! Not so much in a tsundere way, but in a 'NO ME' kind of way. Smahrt's nickname for the Hero is 'Student', as she wants to teach him lots of things that he doesn't know ironically.
