So now I would say for our story, this is the end of the arc. The first was us meeting before the decision of heading to my home. The second is us becoming a couple and ending with the tournament. Now the third one will start during the next chapter.

Shine slowly woke up in some kind of makeshift bed. The vixen rose herself up. “Where am I?” she asked.
“You’re awake, that’s good,” went a familiar voice. The first female looked to her right and saw Ashelin standing there.
Then it all came back to Shine; the attack, the destruction, everything. “NICHOLAS!” she cried and got out of the bed.
“I’m right here,” went his voice and he appeared from behind the currents by the bed. The two ran into the other’s arms.
“Ooohh… thank god… thank god you’re safe…” Shine whispered, tears running down her face. The fosky just held her with warmth and love, stroking her back and hair.
“Shhhhh…” he said softly, kissing her hair. “The important thing is that everybody is safe. We’ve got wounded but it could’ve been much worse.”
The vixen found her boyfriend’s mouth at that and they had a loving kiss. “How… how did this happen?” she asked, fear in her eyes.
“That… is a very good question,” he told his girlfriend. “If you’re well, we need to see the other rulers.”

The couple left the place with her staff which had been brought with the vixen. Shine saw it was a makeshift hospital for the more seriously wounded. But the vixen then looked and gasped when seeing her surroundings. The sky was dark grey with storm clouds. But Loft Ereborn looked very different. The place had been destroyed by Beetlejuice’s attack. Many of the buildings were gone or just rubble. Some were still standing. But the biggest thing was the feeling of those who lived here and the atmosphere. Shine felt sadness and fear. “No…” the vixen whispered, holding onto Nicholas now.
“I know love,” he said gently. “I feel the same way…” The fosky gazed around the area with anger and sadness. “My home… they could’ve destroyed us.”
The two walked to where the other rulers were. The vixen saw they were gathered outside her and Nicholas’s house which had only minimal damage. “There they are,” one of the ruling beings said.
“How could this have happened?” another asked.
“And that person leading the Yuga clan…” a third commented.
They were all silent for a moment. “The thankful thing is that nobody was killed,” Natsha said. “And we didn’t lose anything valuable or lives. Our history, artifacts, all of it. It could have been much worse.”
“But now what do we do?” Shine asked. “And that person who lead those clan members… He said something about using shadow…”
They all looked to the rulers of the element, Shun and Halibel, the rhinos. The male one let out a deep sigh. “It was only a matter of time before he showed up,” the guy said. “In a sense, I might have been responsible for this.”
“What are you talking about?” Nicholas asked, surprised.
“That chihuahua… His real name is Roswell Manor. And he originally came from the place me and my wife rule. He was a little different; not just in power but when he was still a baby, his parents accidently dropped him. The result was while he suffered a tiny bit in his mental abilities, his powers to control the element of shadow increased. Roswell proved to be promising. And yet… I saw something in his eyes that seemed different. And as he grew they began to burn with something that seemed malicious. But he seemed normal and talking seemed like it was just a phase. But… One day he found his home under attack. It was the Yuga Clan. And it wasn’t just his place, but also our city. I realized too late the enemy was after him. They were distracting us from helping him. One of them manipulated the guy to make him think he was attacking the enemy but he was really doing it to his family. Another then twisted and damaged his mind beyond repair. By the time I arrived, it was too late. Roswell was wearing the garb of the Yuga Clan. With a mad grin, one I’ll never forget, he laughed, slaughtering his family. Declaring his new name that he goes by he unleashed his powers on us before fleeing. To this day I wonder if I had kept a closer eye on him, things could have been different.”
“It doesn’t matter, what’s done is done,” Nicholas said. “We can’t change the past. However, despite his insanity, he’s more cunning than he looks. And he’s a frightful opponent. He even made mention of some kind of power. Something we couldn’t see. He was able to kill those two guys with no movement at all. He’s even more dangerous than when I fought him.”
“You said he gave the scar on your chin love,” Shine commented, reaching out to touch it.
“Yeah, it was him with his sickle. But he didn’t have that power then. Either that or he kept it hidden when fighting over that key.”

“What key?” Ajihad asked. The fosky and his girl then explained everything that had happened at the temple.
“So that’s what it was for,” Natasha whispered. “We suspected when reports came in but still…”
“We first heard of the Yuga Clan had gained some things of value, one of which was the key,” Nicholas then said to Shine. “I went with some others to get them back. We were lucky to escape with it and our lives. That scar when being cut by his sickle is just a painful reminder of my fight with him. Why he didn’t use that ability we just saw I don’t know. But he’s not to be underestimated. However, his outfit made me realize he was different than the other clan members. He also told the same thing about being one of those who lead them. Me and the others told this to Ajihad and Natasha. There had been only rumors according to them and this was the first time anyone had seen such people. But now there is no doubt that there are more of these High Commanders when matching up rumored reports of seeing others dressed like him.”
“There are more…?” Shine asked and shuttered.
“It makes sense love. He said he represented the sin of sloth. And there are a group that come to mind; the seven deadly ones. Lust, Sloth, Wrath, Pride, Greed, Gluttony, and Envy. Which must mean there are six others. And I have a nasty feeling each one is somebody from each of the eight locations. But if that’s true, one of them might not just be a high command, but leader of the group. Which leaves the head of the clan. As for how they got here, well… I’m sure the location isn’t a secret to them since they all seem to be made of members who were shown or were told.”
There was silence now. “For now, I think we should keep an eye out for these High Command people and more trouble,” a different ruler said. “We can also look into the history of each place to figure out who they might be.”
“But what about this one?” another asked. “Loft Ereborn has been destroyed. And that still doesn’t answer the question why the Yuga Clan attacked us. If it were to eliminate us rulers, why not do it when we’re not all gathered? There had to be something else.”
“A test to Shine and Nicholas?” one suggested.
“Maybe,” Nicholas commented. “But I think it’s more. As I explained me and her are descendants and reincarnations of those two beings who fought against that evil long ago. For now all we can do is rebuild here and-“
Suddenly the rulers, fosky, and vixen felt something that made the guy stop. It felt like a different tremor of power. It was different than what had been felt before; it was a great power and essence of wind. And then they heard some kind of cry made by some kind of great beast. “That nose…” Ajihad said as they all turned to where it had come from.
“That’s something I’ve not heard in a long, long time,” Nicholas stated.
Shine felt a sense of familiarity to this and wondered if it was thanks to her memory of being Ish that was the cause of it. “What is that…?” she still asked.
“If it’s what I think it is…” Her boyfriend went quiet. “Then I think I know what the enemy was after.” He looked to his girlfriend. “And that means we must head to the source of wind. Among the sky and mountain range it’s at. I can’t handle this alone; I’ll need you honey to help me.”
“Yes… I think I know what it is to thanks to those past memories,” the vixen replied. “Then we shouldn’t waste any time…” It was decided that since the couple were pretty much okay, it was time for them to move out. But this would lead to quiet a journey for them and to something that would affect the whole world.
