Most Sci-Fi worlds have their all powerful Ancient super advanced race, and mine are the Umbrians. Their race is a few million years old at this point, has spanned several Galaxies and pushed tech way up into the "So advanced its Magic" area.

Physical form is purely for show, the Image of Meg here done for a 'Photo Album' as it where. Sure they can exist as Transcendent beings of energy and all that, but its 'fun' to exist in Physical form, and Meg is currently in a Body the shows how the Umbrians existed long ago.
