Nicolas was used to fight and face any kin of danger, but he usually did it alone. Now he has someone with him that didn't had the same experience and that worry him.

"Ella, back to cover each other. We don't know what we are facing and I know you want to prove your worth with the sword but you can't do that if you end up death" He said coldly and his paranoia wasn't helping at all.

"But what if there is more that one? I bet you will need help" she said determinate and taking her sword "besides I need to start somewhere"

"fine... just be careful and don't charge it without thinking" he said still worry as every sound that the forest made just got him, part of him now curse having sensitive ears but what worry him more was the total silence that was around them now
