Weird thing is "my" horse cowboy is a paint...but what is cool is he is a retired police horse too! So you have to learn all these tricks to ride him...but afterwards? SOOO much fun.

Oh! I read that wrong...he was retired because they didn't need so many police horses, and he was getting older anyhow.

ah, when I worked at Westworld the Scottsdale mounted unit kept thier horses on the grounds. when they had to retire one of the horses they wouldnt settle for him going to anything but a good home.

Oh they do the same thing here! The owner of Cowboy is Mary who is the wife of the husband that was on the mounted police unit and rode cowboy at the time. They just needed a good stable too, so they remain here.
