Notable Race Incidents

Lap 15/70 - Adisson Tanward's engine suddenly breaks down, spewing large streams of smoke from behind it. The smoke provided a screen too thick to see through on the track and when FMW's Troy Ryder drove into it seconds later, it blinded Ryder enough for him to not see the wall off one of the corners. Both vehicles were towed back to the garages. DNFs.

Lap 23/70 - Hunter Evans had been struggling with an underpowered Reynault engine since practice and during the race, and finally on lap 23, it gave out in flames. Fenntech's chief strategist immediately ordered Evans to stop along the gravel upon seeing the engine on fire, and thankfully Evans managed to climb out of the vehicle safely. DNF.
