For lying to his majesty about completing his mission, the king has his high sorcerer enchant an emblem onto Cephus to bear his shame for his deception. The emblem a constant reminder that for every lie, the truth becomes stronger. A perpetual cycle in which one must face the consequences of their words and actions. The enchantment prevents the emblem from being concealed, if attempted, it will manifest itself in any means possible somewhere else to remind those around of his treachery.
