Excellent conclusion, man. Of course, for the intro, I would have exclaimed, "Holy shit, I am awash in a sea of vapidity!" That just about sums it up from the get-go.
Discounting your grammatical errors and the fact that your professor pointed out the case of misconceived common knowledge in the paragraph about the massive blunders of our blind country, I would have to say this definitely is a damn good essay.
The points you make here are indeed valid and hold a lot of strength. The problems we will ultimately face if we were to make a call to reform are vast in number, and would be difficult to follow through with. There's just too much of a stranglehold already in place.
The truth is hard to see.
Corporations make up the new "countries" of our world. Hell, it is as if there is an eternal return at work. Just look at what happened between I.G. Farben and U.S. Standard Oil in the 1940's. Financing both sides of a war creates profit. Look at what happened in Chile to Arbenz and Allende - the U.S. overthrew Arbenz because he was opposed to United Fruit, and paved the way for a then-pro-U.S. Allende. Allende proved to be the opposite, and restricted trade with the U.S., so in turn the U.S. backed a coup and installed the pro-U.S. Pinochet, who was one of the most vicious dictators in the 20th century. It all boils down to trade and money. More for me. Me. Me. Me.
The enemy of profit is global awareness. This is why the populus is kept in the dark.
We didn't go to Afghanistan to search for an old man in a cave...we went there to politicize a supposed link to Iraq so that the redneck president could finish his daddy's business from 1992. This is why the fighting continues. And this is why big oil will continue to kill the electric car. It's much more profitable for auto manufacturers to design hybrids that still use a gasoline engine attached to an electric motor.
I would, however, if I were you, add to the list "biofuel" under the waste reform. The only way to really fight the internal combustion engine is to use it for the opposite purpose. Big oil profits from their use...so use your own fuel. Fuck the man. :)

wow!!!!thank you first for reading. And thank you for all the commentary, I really appreciate it. You defiantly gave me a little different perspective on how shit's going to hell in a handbasket. And, I do apologize for some of the grammatical errors, but I do creative writing a lot, and I study a bit of gonzo style...That sometimes seemed to work it's way into some of my term papers. But it always helped me hit subjects with more oomph and detail. Again thank you for your time and if you ever wanna chat about issues in the world, I'm usually bright eyed and bushy tailed..hee
