I made this as a Mother's Day present for my mom back in '06.

The horse should make one complete stride per second, but may run slower on older machines or slower connections. If so, I apologize in advance.

Anyway, the horses were completed entirely in Flash (even the shading), and the background was created in Photoshop. The background is actually 5 different backgrounds panned at different speeds. The nearest layer moves the fastest, while the sun and sky do not move at all. Except for the sun and sky, all of the backdrops are 3300 px (3' 10") in length. The animation is designed to run at 24 fps, and the horse animation makes one stride every 24 frames.
