hardly considerd how it ended, tbh, i liked the movie overall, but not really liked the ending. its a step back to what they tried to build over the last 2 movies and tv show; Those were all about how dragons and humanity could coexist and even work togueter in peace.

However in httyd 3 all of that break apart just because of a overpopulation issue. I mean, i know they had to find a new home for the dragons because there were just too many living in the same place. But why a definitive goodbye? if it had ended with Dragons and Vikings living on their own kingdoms, but still keeping friendly relations and seeing each other ocasionally, it would have kept to the plot httyd has been building until now. But they specifically say that no one saw dragons again and Hiccup reencounter with Toothless at the end was the first one in years. So basically basically human/dragon relation went back to a similar one to the one they had at the beggining of the first movie, just slighty better because they are no longer actively at war with each other but don´t treat each other nice either (the dragons of the hidden world were pretty much ready to kill Astrid and Hiccup if it wasnt for Toothless)
