Windows 7... I don't know where to start...
If you have used XP or lower for years, and have experience with that operating system, then let me tell you something. Everything you thought you know about Windows systems, the useful shortcuts for programs f. e... all this will go to waste when you switch to Windows 7. It's like a completely different system. And I am not too happy with that.
The worst offender however, is that they killed good ol' MS Paint. My digital buddy, which accompanied me throughout my computer years and which was incredibly useful for quick and minor edits on images, is dead. A new program was set to take its place, ironically also called MS Paint. It is an awfully unhandy software, and one has to ask himself how it was made. It's like someone copy/pasted the photoshop code into Paint's source, forgot half of it on the way, and then poured hot coffee over his keyboard o_O
But well, changes are a part of life I guess, and I got to get used to it eventually. That's why I made a quick drawing with it. I know it looks strange and all, but it is really hard to draw with that thing.
Enjoy the picture,
and rest in peace, MS Paint.

mmhmmm looks like a diffrent art style there, i like how your head is not dead center in the picture, the pose is pretty nice, colors are simple yet effective. i am somewhat wondering what the metal object is you are suposibly holding. perhaps a axe or lance? still i like this drawing, and i have missed seeing updates from you Edo, glad to see your doing fine besides the switch.
Yeah, it is a different art style. I usually draw with outlines, but this image has none. I was trying to simulate painting with oil paint and such. I don't think I will draw much more images like this, though. MS Paint 7 is really exhausting to use. And for once I'd like to paint in oil, with proper equipment and on an easel. I'm sure my deceased mentor would appreciate that as well... But I guess this will remain a dream for the near future...
It's nice to hear that you seemed worried about me. I was, and currently am, under some emotional stress I don't want to bother anyone with. Don't worry about me, though, I am persistent.

aaah i see, there was no outlines, very clever idea there. very good job. as for your oil painting, ide much like to see it whenever you paint one ^^
as for you, if you need an ear, mines always open. im a good listener. hope your emotional stress simmers down and fades away, you've had it pretty tough from the sounds of it.
