I don't blame you at all. I feel that Fenneko appreciates Haida's friendship much more than Retsuko does. She goes out of her way to try and make Haida happy while Retsuko just keeps jerking him around. It's wishful thinking because I know they won't take this direction in the show, but it would be so much more endearing than the probable one. Anyway, you did a fantastic job on capturing such a sweet moment with them together!

Right!! Retsuko treats Haida pretty badly at times, I just can't bring myself to ship them....

While I still find the prospect of Haida/Retsuko endearing, Haida/Fenneko has very much grown on me as time passes. It seems there is more of a genuine connection there. Love how you've portrayed this scenario.

(Then again, I also like the what-if scenario of Haida/Tadano (as fanboy and idol), so maybe it's just Haida being the sweet, cute fella he is.)

I like both ships, but I think Retsuko has shown so little interest in him that it makes me kinda bad for the guy, he deserves better!
