Heh! I had two if the 1/144 Saturn V model kits and built one just so I could pretend to re-create the staging, landing and re-entry procedures. The LM was SO TINY and easily got lost in the confines of my room.
It still takes my breath away watching the first stage separation and support ring tumbling away footage taken during the early days of the Saturn V's development.
