Taoth Cor, also known as Tao or TC to friends and acquaintances, is one of Ru's top lieutenant's and the court Ashrak. He originally grew up on a world where he was raised amongst a close knit community. But at some point in his life, a plague struck his homeworld, killing everyone in their sleep and leaving him as the only survivor. Taoth retreated to the wilds to escape but the plague began to kill off all the remaining wildlife as well, leaving TC alone on a slowly dying world. He managed to survive for a while by hunting and foraging but by the time Ru found him by accident, he was dying of starvation and half-mad from loneliness. Taking mercy on him, Ru brought TC back to his ship for healing. For saving his life from death, Taoth swore to serve Ru faithfully in any manner possible. Seeing potential for him, Ru took him as his Ashrak, his personal bodyguard, spy, and assassin for his skills.

As Ru's Ashrak, Tao is often seen by his master’s side or not at all. His time spent on his dying homeworld has forged him into a relentless and experienced hunter. Further training under Ru has only enhanced his skills in that regard but despite his abilities, Tao is rather friendly. While somewhat closed off after being alone for so long, once befriended he becomes more lively and approachable, even defensive of those he cares for. He often goes out out a lot just to experience everything since being so close to death and being rescued have given him a great appreciation for life itself. When he is not out either on his own initiative or on a job though, he is often seen next to Ru, acting somewhat like a steward, but don’t let that fool you.

His greatest weapon when doing his job is in fact the same disease that wiped out his homeworld and though he is personally immune to it its symptoms, he also became a carrier of the disease itself. With some genetic modifications, thanks to Ru, he can now use both this disease and a cure within him as a weapon by biting his victims much like a komodo dragon. He does this when getting close to his targets, even making love to them if its an option, and puts them to sleep. Any wounds that would be made would heal up overnight and the victim is usually assumed to have fallen into a coma. If the comatose being needs to be reawakened, another bite anywhere on the body will usually bring them back to normal in a few hours. It's this weapon and his unassuming appearance that often makes Taoth a dangerous foe to those who face him.

Give a great big shoutout to  Furrypuddingthegreat who created this wonderful work of art a while back. I was sitting at the computer past midnight ready to go to bed when I say this bad boy and snatched him up immediately. He is awesome and a welcome addition to Ru's harem/court. No NSFW version of this guy though, sorry about that. While I didn't commission him, he reminded me of an episode of stargate with an odd but unassuming creature. His name and the title of the pic is actually a reference to that episode, *cough* hint *cough* hint. So feel free to enjoy and may you all have a very good summer.

Okay as of July 2021, I changed him to fit with realities going on in my sona's universe. He is now my personal bodyguard/assassin/spy which I think fits him much better. This is what he is and what he will remain as. Hope you will all enjoy him.
