And yeah, that prehensile tongue does come in handy sometimes, as it can be used to grab/hold things for an example (as long as they're resistant to the saliva that'd be coating the tongue, that is).

Nah, it's not acidic. It might be somewhat sticky but shouldn't necessarily damage what it touches, though it might not always be the best idea to pick something up that is made of fabric or something that could be damaged if it came into contact with fluids, like parchment for an example. So, practically, it would be best to not touch anything that you don't want to be covered in dragon slobber with it.

Well, he usually takes on a smaller form (or more often an - also usually reduced - anthropomorphic form), because he needs way less food and space that way, not to mention that a dragon of his full feral size would just draw way too much attention.
