Alright, I've been working on this dude for quite some time now. Finally after way too much painting I've got him in good enough shape to show off.

This is the final version of my first wall mural. He's about 6x8ft and ready to come off the wall and abuse anyone that gets in his way. ;)

I learned a great deal about design and painting with Mr Octo here and I also learned that cheap tempera paint "aint" the way to go with a wall mural such as this. I mean I spent more time painting over areas just to get coverage than anything. I could have finished him in half the time had I used something else. Eh well, live and learn.

I'm still very pleased with how this dude turned out and now I have some company, along with my birds, in my basement studio. Of course he's behind me while I'm painting...so I've gotta look over my shoulder every once-in-a-while. ;D
