Cross-hatching is by far the most used form of shading when it comes to ink. At least in this case it was executed properly. Nice job, Blue-Paper.

Also, standard linear hatching is the most commonly used form of shading. Cross hatching is second.
Just because you use crosshatching most frequently for your art does not mean the world follows suit. This also does not make make you the authority on crosshatching.

If you feel the need to correct me, please do so in a private message with proof to back it up with.
I was giving this artist a polite complement; it was extremely rude to attempt to prove me wrong with incorrect assumptions to make me look stupid.

I just noticed the fluff of fur around his collar. looks amazing, and something that could of hurt your hand because there is so much detail in it.

*caution: please keep hands at a safe distance from detail*
