Maintaining relations with neighboring and distant kingdoms is one of the obligations of every good sovereign. Forming alliances and relationships of mutual cooperation not only helps to maintain peace and to have allies in case of need, but also promotes collaboration between different cultures, with mutual benefits for both parties.
This is why, often, Prince Borgon and his faithful factotum set off for distant lands and, as a sign of trust, they bow to the customs and traditions of the kingdom they're going to visit.
And that's the case! One of the clan leaders of the deep south's forests requested an hearing with the dragon prince right under the trees of their territory.
With the intention of approaching the ruler in the best way, Silva has documented herself on the culture of the place, and suggested to the prince to adapt to local customs, including the way of dressing.
Although hardened in temper from years of service, the vixen cannot help but doubt the choice made when, as soon as they reach the edge of the woods, the two take their usual clothes off and wear more "appropriate" garments for the place.
They walk for quite a while, until the dragon prince, mildly amused by the awkward silence of his advisor, decides to break the ice:
"So...It's not that bad. Surely you don't sweat in one of these, uh?"
Silva takes her time to reply. Her usually cold, emerald eyes slowly lower, as she peers at herself with an unsure look.
"I don't know... It just looks so impractical... and revealing... and indecent... and..."
"Are you telling me that it brings lecherous behaviours to your mind, maybe?" He asks, with a slight smile on his face.
"Oh, dear seasons... My lord, please!" Silva loses just a little of her composure for the remark, glaring at him.
But the prince has known her long enough to be able to peer beyond the expression on her face, and understands that he hit the mark.
"Hehe~ Forgive me, I was just jesting. Well... Let's step up the pace. Better to be there before sunset."
"Mhmh..." Silva mumbles, taking one last look to herself before following her sovereign...
As those following me for a while knows, I like to ask the artists for commissions in a rather particular way: I directly "draw" what I would like to have, and then I discuss the details with the artist, and together we decide what to leave and what to change: usually, these are minor changes. But with
yljl5809 it was different. Seeing his other artworks, I decided to give him artistic freedom, leaving the theme and setting unchanged, but relying entirely on his skills fir the rest.
And it was a really wise choice. Just look at that beautiful piece of art! ^^
yljl5809 was also very kind and patient. We talked a lot, and it was very pleasant to work with him.
I recommend him for sure, and in the meantime I urge you to visit his gallery to get an idea of what else he has drawn. You will not be disappointed, I guarantee you. This artist is really talented, besides being very polite

Well, probably it's because of commissioners. yljl5809 is very talented and as you can see he draws female characters so well... But sadly people ask mostly for male bodies ^^''
Probably since he's a friend of mine I'll commission him more in the future, so maybe you'll see more of my vixen. At least it's something, right?
