Bernard has always been a great dad in his family, but recently, he's been feeling like he could be an even better dad than he already is. But how could he become one of the best dads around? Well, from listening to the news, Bernard has been getting plenty of tips, and he's figured the best place to start is to begin sporting a new look: the good ol' classic dad bod. Although, in his quest to become the best dad, perhaps he went a little overboard in the weight department of the dad bod ;p
Or perhaps it's actually the perfect amount? After all, he seems pretty happy with himself ^^
I suppose, in the end, it's up for others to decide that for themselves ;3c
Normally, I have a bit longer stories with my pics, but this time around, I really just wanted to draw this image for two reasons:
1)Boot Grimbler (silly me lol) recently posted an amaaaaazing Bernard fat pic here on FA, and
2) A week or two ago, there was a report on the local news about how women who were polled most liked their men sporting dad bods! I wonder why I found that interesting, lol :p
But anyway, yeah, I freaking love the heck out of this purple werewolf dad, heheh, and I'm really happy with how this came out. This was one of the first drawings that I've put into my newest sketchbook, and honestly working on this was one of the best drawing experiences I've had in the past few weeks ^^
Other than that, I just did a bit of experimenting in this piece with the lines, as the majority of them are a darker shade of the color they outline. I'm not sure how often I'll do this with the lines, but I must admit they add a nice charm to the piece. I'll have to continue to improve with them into the future nwn
Finally, I hope you all liked this piece! I wanted to get this out before I headed out on our family camping trip tomorrow, so that's great ^^
