Esmeralda tends to get very focused on her combat training, to the point where the world around her can be completely shut off.
Whenever Vera needs Esmeralda for something, there are times where she has to take extreme measures to either get her attention or prevent her from being too focused. Today was particularly bad, and lessons have to be learned.

This was a quick piece. I'm trying my hand at different perspective and angles, because I've been frustrated that a lot of my work is stiff and beginning to go all samey again. While the coloring itself was quick, trying to get this angle to work was rough and took me far longer than I thought it would. But I'm glad I gave it a shot, and I plan on going for more strange angles in the coming images.
