Hey this is INCREDIBLE?? Like maybe I'm blasted off my ass with exhaustion and it's hittin me particularly hard for a solo character illustration but I'm noticing so many little things about this that are just *head explosion motion* TRIPPIN MY NOODLE, MAN. Your stuff is always CRAZY GOOD but something about this illustration is GETTING ME.

The sketchy lines? ACE. LOVE 'EM. Your shading & contrast shows hella form, the colors are sexy, the shape of his face is FIRE. His hands being so much lighter draws my gaze RIGHT TO 'EM. Everything is so LOOSE, it flows SO GREAT RIGHT INTO MY EYEBALLS. The echoing voice of my middle school art teacher in my mind insisting coloring stay within the lines was well and truly silenced by "IT'S MY STYLE!!!" and it WORKS. I *love* that some edges are defined with lines and others just with the edges of the color. Just. Wow. Wow!!!

This comment is kinda long and in retrospect maybe a little goofy and embarrassing but dang I had to get it out of my system, idk what about this in particular is smashin' that Give Dopamine button but whoo boy. this was like a blue edible for my EYES

EVEN AFTER A WEEK I CAN'T GET OVER THIS COMMENT.... thank you so much, like, omg. I'm crying. This is exactly how I think about my favorite artists' works and receiving such a WAVE of the same impact is such a great feeling. It means a lot :D!

Why transfer the dynamism of a great sketch onto a final painting when you can just make more sketches amirite? Haha. In all seriousness though, the pose and shape design are exquisite.
