That's how I used to draw furries before knowing what furries were... back in 1997! :V And yeah, he was (supposedly) based on that big bad wolf in the Grimm's fairy tales episode (Red Riding Hood).
I redrew him after 20 years, but... I wanted to draw him again, sticking more on how I drew him back in 1997... a friend told me he looked like a "Bartolini" Courier (it's an italian delivery company), so... he's a courier now! Delivering your brand new *insert eagerly waited item here* right at your home. We'll call him Dick Wolf. No, not the "Law & Order" one. Literally Dick AND Wolf together :V
Everytime you see an artist you like doing art and you feel your art isn't good enough... well, think about that day back in 1997 in which I drew a dick-nosed wolf in all his dicknosedwolfness! Also...feel free to laugh your butts off, because I can't avoid doing the same everytime I see it xD
Pencils, inks and colors (and that dreadful wolf-shaped stain of markers on the left) by me.

Ha ha! There was a lot of improvement, here. I think you were trying to prove something with the 2017 version, the current incarnation of the DickWolf is more natural, comfortable in his own skin (as a delivery boy?). Okay, resigned to his fate.
Check out this guy's maturation over roughly the same period: http://www.poisonedminds.com/d/19980927.html
If you decide to do an archive crawl, be sure you have nothing else to do for a couple of days. 21 years and hundreds of strips, some covering three convergent timelines. Sci-Fi, social commentary, industrial espionage.

What a great tryptych!
Wow - 1997. That was the year I attended my first furry con (the first Albany Anthrocon). Also my first time in the USA. Starting to feel like a lifetime ago.
Anyway... I can tell you that my ability to draw hasn't improved at all since then!
BTW this is probably purely coincidence, and I'm sure there are loads of other artists who have similar techniques/styles, but something about that middle panel really reminds me of Vaughn Bode.

Yeah no. For reals. I've seen that old image before on the internet I swear. I'm not saying you didn't draw it, but maybe someone you know posted it years ago? Or some other child had a very very similar idea. I find his brick head amusing. XD
I really like your 2017 style the most tho. :P
