Well, that quote doesn't make a lot of sense considering anarchy is pretty much TOO MUCH liberty, but still, I like prequel memes and I'll quote them whenever I can.
So yeah, the final splatoon 2 splatfest happened this weekend and chaos won... I was fighting for the order, but tbh, if this splatfest decided the fate of an eventual Splatoon 3, I think chaos is a better plot-point to start, at least if things go the way I assume... the game starts in chaos and you fight to bring peace back, but who knows, they can do the exact opposite and have a generic "evil empire vs rebellion" plot, which I hope is not the case, that's been done to death at this point.

But anyway, about the image, there's a few new things to note. I've worked on an improved version of my inkling model for a while, and I think this is the first pic I post with it. The new design features way better skin texture and shader, even better, more adult proportions, less watermelon-y heads, a bit improved toenails and, of course, the friendship bracelet, since now foot fetish is canon on the splatoon universe thanks to a recent update :p The default head color I'm using is still orange, here is gold-ish, glitter brown to fit the Chaos team ink color.

Also, I've modeled that throne myself, it should come in handy for another render idea I've had for a while, that might involve a rather regal version of sonic, but no need to worry about that for now~
I've just discovered a new Blender addon called BlenderKit, that gives me free access to a ton of stock shaders, so that's how we got this fancy marble checker instead of the usual one I do, plus the cushion texture of the back of the throne~

And yeah, I've convinced myself that now I'll only really render inklings using EEVEE, because of subsurface scattering, but here I am still rendering stuff in Cycles and getting a bunch of noise... Stubbornness is a problem
