This started of as a snarky comment to someone over on Discord about how their style of rendering strongly resembled a specific brand of bubblegum. That evolved into this.
So not everything I put here is to be taken exactly. Variances do exist in the real world. Shit ain't perfect yo.
So baiscally, this is how I would render different brands of bubblegum, based on what I observed for myself on how they handled light and shit.
I'm a bit too tired to explain my observation and more specfic observations, but to be brief, ambient reflection was handled with clipped add layers, absorption was handled with clipped divide and multiply layers, transmission was handled with screen, divide, and multiply layers.
