Some friends ask me about the process I use in my Works, so here´s a very basic step by step guide, I must admit it´s very similar like others artists pals, no really difficult to get & follow.

1.- Made a basic sketch
Creating the composition it´s just to get the idea about you want to show and usually chance & modify all time; erasing it´s not a mistake but a good path to get a good image. Artists erase all time!
2.- Clean sketch (or inks)
Once you choose a good image just add details and clean the art. In my case usually I don´t ink, it´s just black pencils!! Unless my client wants ink art of course.
3.- Create the background
Each artist have a personal way to do his/her image. I prefer making the scenery first, why? Because this step defines the illumination and contrast, it´s the light & dark which involves the color on the characters, don´t you think?
4.- Basic color of the character
Just add pure colors without gradients, a basic & necessary way.
5.- Gradient & detailed art
Now you know where the lights & shadows are around the character. Probably it´s the easiest step because you already made the background and there´s no doubt what to do. It´s important to let the effects & details in this final part because you save work time in every art. Cool!!

Bueno. Algunos amigos me preguntaban como hago mis imágenes o si ponía un tutorial de paso a paso. Asi que les explico un poco de cómo salió la imagen de Angie Santa, realmente no es complicado y cualquiera puede hacerlo o crear su propio estilo.

1.- Boceto básico.
En esta etapa solo requerimos de armar la idea, asi que no te preocupes por los detalles. En esta parte se vale borrar y modificar lo que quieras. Borrar no es malo ni es imperfecto, es un paso para lograr algo mejor, después de todo cualquier artista profesional lo hace.
2.- Boceto limpio.
Una vez que elijas tu composición solo limpia y detalla. Para algunos es la etapa de tintas, pero en mi manera casi nunca entinto, me agrada mas usar mis lápices aunque si un cliente quiere tintas pues se las hago.
3.- Crea el fondo.
Sé que quieres pintar ya tu personaje y sé que cada artista tiene su método y estilo de hacer las cosas, pero en mi opinión el fondo debería ir primero pues define la iluminación y oscuridad de la composición que involucra al personaje. ¿Será día, tarde, noche? ¿o interior u exterior? Tú eliges.
4.- Colorea al personaje en modo básico.
No hay manera de equivocarse en esta parte, simplemente pon el color más simple.
5.- Arte final.
Ahora ya conoces donde van las luces y sombras de tu personaje porque terminaste primero el fondo, así que no puedes equivocarte porque ya hiciste lo más complicado y seguramente te tardarás menos en esta parte. Reducir tiempos en cada imagen cuenta. Solo hasta esta parte podrás añadir todo el detalle que desees y poner efectos o textos. ¿Divertido?

Se bien que no es lo mismo explicarte con palabras a mostrarte todo en vivo, y aunque no tengo un video del proceso de la imagen de Angie Santa puedo mostrarte otros videos que anteriormente ya había subido a mi canal de YouTube, que espero te ayuden a resolver las dudas que tengas.
