Here's the new Moon head pretty much finished. These pictures have actually been sitting on my hard drive for at least a week now but I was too lazy to arrange and upload them til now. XD
The only things I still have to add are internal, such as the teeth, which I am redoing since they were crooked the first time. :\ I WILL be adding LEDs to the eyes eventually, I have decided (initially threw that idea out because it's a lot of trouble). I left room so I can put them in later.
Altogether I'm about a million times happier with this head than the first one. Huzzah!

That's what one eye looks with a test LED in it. (I cannibalized an LED off a random McD's toy to see how things would look. I'll be getting actual LED's whenever I do this)
The eyes are made of those clear rubber bouncy balls, one of them cut in half to make both eyes. The flat part of each half is painted with a mix of glow-in-the-dark and silver paint. The silver is quite reflective in a camera flash, even when it's not head-on, so that's why they turn out really bright in pictures even though they're actually kind of dark in normal light. The black bit around the eye is epoxy clay, which I used to cover the eyes into a more natural shape.
Anything you wanted to know that I didn't cover, just let me know. ^^

That is completely gorgeous and exactly the kind of effect I'd be looking for. If I could pry every possible detail out of you for all this I would. XD But I wouldn't know where to start either. ;p When I finally find the right furs and have the money for this stuff, I'm sure I'll come up with some questions for you. I definitely want to know more about these bouncy balls and the paints used though.
