Title: A Cry for a Nation
or (El lloro por una Nación)
Death,
I wish for death
But they wont let me go.
Each generation is suppose to improve
And as far as it seems,
At 23, my own father had a better life.
While I wonder around with a miserable life,
A pathetic routine, with pathetic choices.
(-Please let me write what I write,
it lets me ease my pain)
Because it is all I got left, no more videogames,
No more tv, no more friends, no support,
No nothing, only the hope for painting and writing something.
Each day is the same,
wake up at 4 am, be taken on a car,
sleep on it for 5 hours straight.
The sun burning my skin through the windshield
Filling my lungs with the smoke from the engine of crappy trailers and buses.
Hell, truly Living in Hell.
But they don’t let me die.
They won't
But after each morning,
I find peace at work,
From the security of doing something
Meant to have a useful purpose for someone else on the outside.
Things must be bad,
When you start begging for death,
But cannot kill yourself.
Our country, our people
Us, not them,
We pay for their sins,
We pay for their parties,
We pay for their luxury,
We pay for their food,
With blood in our hands,
We pay,
And they don’t even know.
Now they want to miserably destroy us,
They want to erase the product of their own childish and selfish game.
The child wants to hide his mess under the carpet,
Wont admit it's his fault.
Blames his little bad luck on us.
And wont be brave enough to face the problem.
I am not a coward,
I know I'm not,
I was born in hell.
And I wont run away from it like thousands do.
So they don’t have the right to insult me and blame me
for their own murders.
Don't worry, my voice is very far away, hidden in the darkness.
Anonymity gives me the courage to speak open and freely.
Maybe the only true voice of pain you may ever hear from my people.
No help can be given, no money, no backup,
There's nothing that can be done,
We are in the fate of doom.
Only prayers can save us.

I forgot writing can also be an art form.
Maybe this is not the right place to post this.
But this is all I know, and is all I can do.
The will to paint is dead.
Writing is all that is left.
Besides, let it all come out,
they said.
Amm.. to be truth, This might be too dramatic,
And maybe a complete exaggeration,
But it is, as it is,
as it comes from my heart.
The situation between US and Guatemala has been rough.
From what I can state from my point of view,
from the things I see, and have learned.
This is for me the truth, from what I can understand,
And if I'm not right, I hope I can be corrected and proven wrong.
Guatemalans should not be leaving their homeland,
But is hard for them to live here, they don’t have food, there's no resources, and no hope for prosperity,
and they are killed by extreme violence everyday.
I do believe some of them leaving may be criminals, but sure is a minority,
Regardless, this is the consequence of the lack of proper education, and teaching of basic ethic and moral principles.
Guatemala is very close to being a failed state, Human migration is a sign of it.
History can clearly tell us that intervention of the US government, inside the Guatemalan Government,
for the protection of own US interest, Has launched a series of heavy problems that started with a 36 year long civil war,
and even though declared as finished, blood still runs through the streets.
Trump wants to punish Guatemala, for not signing the Safe-Third Country Agreement,
Because they want us to take care of asylum seekers, people who is sent out from the US,
But Guatemala, can barely take care of it's own people, how could it take care of more?
This would only worsen the situation for the people and the country itself,
This looks for me, not to be the right solution.
So to say it in a matter, they want us to take care of the problem, they started,
And were are not even near close able to manage it.
If the U.S is a proper Nation, they should not be declaring treats of punishment,
they should be declaring their heavy commitment to help solve the Issue,
then it seems to me, that there would be no reason for not signing the deal,
For it would be a deal of teamwork and union, one that would help all of us.
From what I know from history, and my favorite country,
that is Japan, hehe
I can see they learned that,
Nations are not fixed with violence and war,
Nations are fixed with humility, hard work, and teamwork.
I wish for Guatemala and United States to learn the same.
-
Even though not sure if proper for the ocassion.
Neither able to understand it's meaning completely.
This song resonates with my feelings.
System Of A Down
B.Y.O.B
Why do they always send the poor?
Barbarisms by barbaras
With pointed heels
Victorious victorious kneel
For brand new spankin' deals
Marching forward hypocritic
and Hypnotic computers
You depend on our protection
Yet you feed us lies from the tablecloth
Everybody's going to the party, have a real good time
Dancing in the desert, blowing up the sunshine
Kneeling roses disappearing into
Moses' dry mouth
Breaking into fort knox stealing
Our intentions
Hangars sitting dripped in oil
Crying, "Freedom!"
Handed to obsoletion
Still you feed us lies from the tablecloth
Why don't presidents fight the war?
Why do they always send the poor?
They always send the poor!
They always send the poor!
//////
I just hope things can be resolved peacefully. (^w^)
