My beau and his best bud are just like brothers. And I mean JUST like brothers-- they don't give an inch when they get in an argument, just like these twin boys I used to babysit for. And just like those twins, five minutes later they're pals again.
My blood pressure tends to go up a notch if I happen to be around when they get into it though (generally on the 'net, since we're separated by some distance from bro) so I scribbled this in a matter of minutes to occupy myself while waiting for them to be done. Best not to try and butt in when brothers fight ya know, gotta let 'em do their thing or they'll stay pissy at each other... and then also be pissed at me. LOL!
Kitty= MOA
Ferret (yeah that's a ferret)= char I designed for my pal Captain
Sugar Glider= Me (duh right?)

*nod* Hence scribblings instead. I've had a little prior experience with those kinds of battles and I realize it's important to let 'em run their course... but I still spazz anyway! I don't know if it should be the obvious thing for me to be so averse to conflict, or if I should thrive on it and it's weird that I feel that way, considering my own family bickers like that a lot. *shrug*
Wether or not you're averse to conflict or "thrive" on it is Wholely dependant on your own personality. There's no SHOULD about it and it's one of those things you really can't change about yourself. You're averse to conflict and that's who you are and it suits you, so don't worry about that part.
And I understand how you feel, i find watching arguements incredibly uncomfortable as well, so what you have to do is recognize "do I have anything to do with the point of the arguement?" if not then sit there and wait or leave the area. If it does involve you (directly) then speak up, by all means. But playing peace-keeper just makes things more frustrating and difficult later.
