This gives you an idea what the inside of the dump box looks like what's been added is some wear plates on the aluminum back by the pillars if you look closely you can see them in the photo. Oddly a number of customers that have seen the Box have said it looks like a piece of artwork because of the Symmetry and yada yada, I don't know it looks like a repaired dump box to me it looks like a tool for hauling dirt and gravel but I'm no art critic.

Like with anything that is in contact with an abrasive material it's going to wear away over time to protect the bolts on the floor in the high where areas I put down wedges ahead of the bolts and then put hardfacing on the edges so they will wear a lot longer then the mild steel flat bar I made the wedges out of.

I am going say the steel will last for the next 12 to 15 years, the aluminum I think it'll probably get another five to six years out of it depending on what they haul in the truck. Myron says he's just going to use the truck for dirt and gravel well that's a maybe but I've done all I can to give the work I have done the longest life possible.
