Interesting how a lot of the one-two shot side characters can grab so much attention.

I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that Rescue Rangers had *good* writers, who obviously cared about their work. Hence, even minor characters in the show were often more original and dynamic than the main players from most other cartoons anymore.

Notice, there's not too much porn of characters from these new, soulless, shiny, cranked-out cartoons of today, but Gadget, Fifi, Dot and everyone from Sonic the Hedgehog are still doin' fine...
