I have been fully convinced to make another boy! Thanks  StereoMaster For the thought of it! I'd been thinking of making a bigger pooltoy oc that contrasts to my usual small, cute ones, and finally decided on the species i wanted to do! Darren here is a thresher shark floatie, an inflatable shark who likes to act tough and intimidating on the outside, but on the inside, has such a sweet spot, especially for smaller floaties. He's best friends with Makaio, And oftentimes can be found alongside him doing trash runs in the ocean. Gotta keep the oceans clean! When he's not doing that, he likes to surf and relax on the sand, or bar hop with friends for a while. (He probably shouldn't be drinking being an inflatable, but it doesn't stop him!) He's a little more complex than most floaties. His vinyl is more flexible and harder to penetrate, which allows him to do more without the fear of popping or deflating. Of course accidents can still happen, but not often, and usually they are small enough to patch up. His vinyl heals with time like my other floaties do, but his seems to take more time, a con due to his size. But he's fiercely protective of his friends and any other floaties who need him, and will put himself in the front lines to protect them. For a thresher shark, he's more like a nursing shark, the guardian of the floaties. XD Him and Makaio take in strays they find around the beach or in the water since having found Oliver, and give them a place to stay, some safe shelter for lost pooltoy babs everywhere! "

I definitely plan to draw more art of them in the future, i just love his design and how shiny and pretty he is!
