This time, the textures are saved within the .blend file, so there's not the type of mess I have with the Minions.
Rules are as usual, no commercial use and no claiming as your own. If you modify and re-upload, give proper credit and do specify what you changed.

getting my head around paranting to them. i'm hoping this is or will be getting easier.
every tutorial i have, they seem to gloss over this, which is like the whole point.
they go on and on about growing and positioning bones, but when it comes to parenting the mesh to them,
however its supposed to be done, i get whiplash, they go by so fast,
i'm going to have to watch fraim by fraim in the vse to figure out what the heck they actually do.
its just one of those things i never seem to get around to. and i do promis myself one of these days i will.

That is actually one of the easiest parts, which is probably why it gets glossed over. https://blender.stackexchange.com/q.....ade-to-a-model
If the "with automatic weights" function turns out to have crappy weight distribution, it might be better to select "with empty weights" instead and paint on the weighting by yourself.
Also, if you find something to be done too fast in video format, looking up a written explanation might help.
