Tried out quite a few different painting techniques for this piece. Used a overlay for the lighting layer and added a color filter to the actual lineart to give the pic a soft, painting like feel.

They shouldn't be, unless she's been out in the cold or something (metal tends to wind up the same temperature as its surroundings, after all). I'd be more concerned that her legs would be too hard to be comfortable to rest on.

This is so adorable. It’s kinda bittersweet but at the same time so cathartic and heartwarming. Definitely putting this one in favorites.
