Oh lol, I meant practice with markers! Silly. Im fine with anatomy, though. xD
I learn everything on my own, anyway. I study from real life everyday. As for the photographs... let's just say I take pictures of myself whenever I can (which is not always... just when I really like my outfits lol). I promise I'm no camwhore. ;>

Oh, I get that. Really. Old markers suck. uggh And speaking of which... have not used markers in ages. I need a new pack. ;;
...I actually do art with my highlighters a lot. I don't have many colors, but I always seem to make them work somehow. xD

I'd just love to get my hands on COPICS blah I've heard/seen how good they can be, and I really really want them. ;;

I usually draw in a black fine-tipped Sharpie first, then I use the highlighters to color (and sometimes even shade). I also have this really weird habit of re-lining my pictures in the neon green... I dunno why. It's just cool, I guess? xD

Ugh, I cannot STAND the smell of sharpies DX My buddy was limited to sharpies when we were first starting off and too poor to buy lining pens.. and I just.. had to break down and get us some lining pens. Can't do sharpies XD

Much awesome! Bah, don't worry about the streaks, I think it actually adds something to it, like dappled skin shades on certain animals (thinking stuff like sharks primarily) because of the light coming from the water. Gives it that special something. Both versions I think are awesome!

I loove how the shading looks! Especially the white!
Hm any advice I would give would just to practice and get a technique down for covering the area in a clean layer, double the layers to even em out if you need to also! lots of practice :3
