I had to think up a reason to make the Wolf Queen smile.

I'm glad you're following the antics of this little group. Sometimes during our chats I can get totally lost. Still, it a great way to generate ideas for art and stories.

(Captain) What did you just see?
(Lieutenant) [looks up with patented Pounds Look of Bafflement (R)] Ummm...I just saw a large winged wolfess in a brass-bikini, bedecked with jewels, just hit you on the nut with a gilded object.
(Captain) Wrong.
(Lieutenant) [looks up as wolfess recedes into distance] Wrong, sir?
(Captain) You saw nothing.
(Lieutenant) But sir! I'm pretty sure I saw a wolfess butt. Not that I'm an expert on wolfess...
(Captain) You don't understand. Let me repeat myself. You. Saw. NOTHING.
(Lieutenant) But I did, sir. I'll have to put it in my report.
[long, ominous pause]
(Captain) You do that. While you're doing that, I'll fill in this transfer paperwork.
(Lieutenant) Transfer paperwork, sir?
(Captain) Ye-e-e-e-es. Transfer paperwork.
(Lieutenant) [gulps] Um, sir?
(Captain) Yesss?
(Lieutenant) I saw nothing, sir, just now.
(Captain) Smart boy.

LOL... likely because you and I both grew up with The Honeymooners, Ralph and Ed were always getting into trouble

I just figured it out. That "Ow Ow OW!" bit in EOCostello's opening line reminded me of Stan Freeburg's 1955 hit, "The Honey Earthers". One of the drawbacks of dropping a lead lined lunchbox on one of the Selenite bus driver's three feet.

And if we didn't have The Honeymooners or Freberg we had The Flintstones...

Personally, I'm all for smashing things together! Particularly when it involves subjects as compelling as the Wolf Queen.

It would seem that the subject has drawn the lieutenant's interest as well.

Fans and friends have been asking for a "Sequel" to this image. Well... It would be a good excuse to draw the Wolf Queen again, and possibly another Tank. I really need to get out of my drawing slump.
