Ah, good to see that you putting some effort into your images =D Good rendition of Saff here, always a magnificent thing, how many small details you put in there - even though you cannot see it properly anymore at this resolution XD Really neat, only thing is, that I would recommend you to figure out a method to smoothen up the original resoluted outlines. I looked at the large file, and everything looks nice and smooth - but then there is this coarse outlining... With a few clicks in Photoshop you can easily smooth that up. Just a little hint, would make the image look better in full res, but also makes the outlines look interesting when being rendered down ^^
^^ Thanks! Glad it meets up to your standards! Its you who's pushin me to do better, and I thank you for it!
And yes... I have always had a problem with lines in photoshop after scanning. I was a bit lazy with the inking on this image, lines were quite faint, but what can you recommend for when scanning line work and adjusting in PhotoShop?

Ah, I was guessing so :b I feel honored that I have a special influence to you =D Also, it's nothing bad at all having another fox artist who's pushing himself to offer some more sweet foxy stuff to this world ^^
Well alright, this little trick is damned easy. Just for you, my friend, I installed Photoshop in English, so that I can tell you the right filter names (since in German even the German filter titles have quite different meanings).
Alright, first either scan the linework in very high resolution, or just pump an existing linework up to a large resolution. Why I mean that is like, when you scan an upright A4 image, the final resolution of the linework should be at least 10.000 pixels in height. Then you navigate to the "artistic" filter area, where you use "dry brush" then. Set the brush size to max, the other two parameters to minimum, and render the effect - you'll get to see what I mean then. When that is done, shrink the image down again to your preferred working size, that will enable to lines to get smooth again.
Remember that you can vary elements like the resolution before rendering and setting of the parameters of the effect for trying out to get the best result. But the mentioned parameters mostly do best to me ^^
