LIIIIZZ!! I must come and squeal here too about how much I love this picture!! Thank you so much again for agreeing to do this commission, I cannot get over how perfectly you captured Jagey! I love his little winky face, and how adorable he is. The colors are perfect, and the way you shaded the fur and did the markings is so amazing!

Because most floofy poofy cats are all-indoor cats, bred to be lap ornaments. Like Persians. Short-hair breeds are the working cats who were bred to hunt mice, etc. It is only through mankind's intervention that we created breeds of cats with fur so long they can almost trip over it.
