The dragon ignored the anguished cry from across the room, for he was too preoccupied with the well of power he was now exploring. It seemed limitless, endless rivers of warm energy flowing from infinite pools, waiting to be used and unleashed. He bathed in it, for the briefest second of contact, allowing all that power to caress his body and uplift him. He only had maybe a second and a half before Elliot blasted him away, but it was enough - already he could feel the difference in the way the magic laser hit him, like being struck with a cushion instead of a hammer. Once again strands of muscle pulsed across his frame, beefing up his already hefty build, but this time it was a transfer of magic more than anything else. Tendrils of power creeping up and down his spine, working their way into his bones and organs, electrically charged.

“My turn.” He said as he got up, stolen magic already buffeting around him.
