United States Anthro Corps. Emblem
***COMMENTS AND THOUGHTS APPRECIATED***
Well this took way longer than expected.
Several months of brainstorming.
Countless sheets of scrap paper tossed away in a displeased manner.
And one hour in photoshop.
This is the base idea for the USAC emblem.
I wanted it simple, yet unique.
Originally, a couple of years ago, I had wanted to tweak the actual USMC emblem, but that was too hard.
The idea for the simplicity came from the "Call of Duty 4" version of the USMC emblem. I used that as a base for how I kind of wanted mine to work out.
still, I couldn't get it the way I wanted it. I kept making it too simple
Now, "Modern Warfare 2" had the emblem for Task Force 141. which helped me along with the final tweaking process to my emblem.
This is the final product.
And I'm happy with it.
Tell me what you think,

This looks great!
My only suggestions are to make the blade a wee bit longer and nudge the paw pads around a bit to give the inner circle some more breathing room and balance to the pawpad graphic portion itself.
Good work. All the good ones take longer than you think they should... but the end result is usually worth the extra effort.

In my original design, the inner circle had too much breathing room.
Probably the biggest reason why it seemed that way was originally, the wings weren't there like it is here. it was just a plain circle. And the thickness of the circle was about as thick as the areas between the end of the blade and the wings.
I do agree that the blade could be longer, but I was compensating for how the bottom is.
The bottom is: sides short, middle long
So I made the top: sides long, middle short
To me, it gives it a little bit of a better, more dynamic look, and evens it out.

The wings represents the Aerial Division, usually used for transport and supporting rolls, but sometimes offensive rools.
The sword represents the Ground Division, which is their main attack force.
just like the USMC symbol shows that they fight on land, sea and air.
this symbol shows the USAC deals more with air and land. The Anthro Corps. is a highly secret special ops branch, not known to the general public, and not even known to most higher command individuals. They do not have a sea unit
I guess I got off track, but in short. No, they do not have an aerial combat unit to date, since most combat is done on the ground. the helo's can attack and other enemy helos, and the jets are capable to engage in aerial dogfights, but they are usual not equipped for it.
