Is it really a trebuchet if it isn't powered by the trop of a heavy counterweight but rather by an electric motor attached to a set of cogs? My major concern is what happens to that apparently flimsy construction once the ring cog reaches the stop in order to transfer the momentum into the ball. It looks like that throwing arm needs some kind of additional bracing.
At least they all seem to be having fun.

Actually, this is a clever and simple design. The arm with the ball would be carried in the trough at the bottom of the robot behind the base of the upright supports. The arm would swing up and then continue forward to rest at the base. (It might even be able to "Guard" the ball by locking it in the trough.)
Anyway, once again Cartoowolf shows off remarkable rendering skills, attention to details and great understanding of mechanical design.
