I understand, adding just color highlights to a mostly colorless picture can worrisome because if it isn't done right then it can easily ruin a great image, but I think you did a great job, you didn't over use the red and you chose to use it in great locations. The only other thing I could think was if the scythe is supposed to be her's then maybe one or two red bands mixed in with the wrappings or something like that.
